comotion Posted August 7, 2011 Share Posted August 7, 2011 Lessons learned from installing a 5850 in a MacPro and an Apple Cinema Display screen with minidisplay port. The card came with 3 ports on it. HDMI, Displayport and DVI – A DVI to Minidisplayport converter is about 150-160$ – A HDMI to Minidisplayport converter is about 150-160$ – A lot of cards from the 57xx and 58xx series doesn't play nice if you use a displayport to minidisplayport converter. This apparently it goes for Windows also... Got it from a guy who had it in his Hackintosh so I thought I was ok, but his screen had a Displayport os no problems there.
