BJ1308 Posted July 26, 2011 Share Posted July 26, 2011 Hi, For a few weeks now I have been trying to get the Atheros AR9285 working without success. Hearing about Mac OS X working with the Broadcom 4312 chip I decided to put it into the second slot in my computer and re-install Mac to get a fresh set of kexts. It still failed to detect it, there is also nothing in System Profiler. I have heard of many people trying to install a 3g chip in the same slot but denied by a BIOS lock down.
