federals Posted June 22, 2011 Share Posted June 22, 2011 Hi! It seems that I can shut down my laptop, but it doesn't power off by itself. The hard disk, CPU (and I hope, all components, since I can see "CPU halted" on verbose boots) are being shut down, but the power is still on). I have to keep the power button down for 5 seconds to power off, but that's not ok. Any ideas on what can I do to solve this problem? Thank you!
