Ok, the issue is that i can hear myself through my microphone, with the volume down to 0 (the mic volume)

I am using VoodooHDA and AppleHDA (both from iatkos s3 v2)

Thing is, if i remove the microphone from it's jack and plug it in again, it stops.I thought the problem was solved.

After a restart, the same thing!

I am now going to try removin apple HDa and check for differences.

Then i'll put back appleHDA and remove voodoohda if it isn't solved.

I am waiting for answers from you too, guys!

Hope this time you'll help me...

EDIT: Nothing worked, only solution is going to the back of my pc and unplug and replug my mic.

I tried booting without my mic, i can hear everything, just that there is a buzzing noise on the background.

ALC662 on G31-M7 TE, mac 10.6.3 iatkos + update to 10.6.7

In both versions i have the same issue!

I also tried the last version of voodoohda (2.7.2 i think) it's doing the same thing.

SOLVED!

Solution:

Ok, here is how i did it :

You will need

VoodooHDA 2.6.0

And do the following edits in info.plist:

<key>iGain</key>

<string>0</string>

<key>iMix</key>

<string>70</string>

After just install the kext, and reboot.

Boot using -f and -v to see what's happening.

Working mic front & back

Speakers & Headphones too!

ADDED KEXT! JUST INSTALL AND IT WORKS!
