jimbly2 Posted May 7, 2011 Share Posted May 7, 2011 Hi, greetings to all - I'm wondering if I could ask all you guys for your advice - I have my DV7T i7 720 ATI mobility radeon HD 5650 working - full QE/QI and recognised correctly in system profiler but ONLY on an external vga monitor - LCD panel remains backlit but black. Am I right in thinking this has to be a EDID issue - since the drivers obviously work on the vga is it just that the system doesn't understand the LCD panel?
