Wifi keeps dropping off

Hi, I'm running Snow Leopard using the iAtkos release and I'm having problems with my wifi. If I remember correctly it's using a patch to get my Broadcom 43XX to use the Airport drivers but while the wifi works for a short while (say 10 - 30 minutes?) it always drops off eventually and won't come back. The Airport scanner thing just says it can't find any networks anymore. From what I've read other people have this kind of problem when the cards g to sleep but that doesn't seem to be the case for me, it seems to be more like my card konks out while it's under a heavy load. I had on old iDeneb install for ages and that worked just fine. If I were to reinstall that on another drive and copy the kexts over would that work?

Or preferably is there a simpler solution to this problem?

BTW, OSX86 Tools reports my card to be BCM4306 but the device ID is 4320. Don't know what that means.

Thanks.
