Hi,

some months ago I've installed iatkos s3 v2 (10.6.4) to the pc in signature.

Now, I would to use the combo update to upgrade to 10.6.5.

I've read that before use the combo update it needs to backup some kext and do something about the kernel.

Does "uname -a" give a correct value?

I obtain: Darwin Kernel Version 10.4.0: Fri Apr 23 18:27:12 PDT 2010;

root:xnu-1504.7.4~1/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64

If so, do I need a patched kernel or can I update without change the kernel?

Thanks in advance,

Fran
