Installing Leopard on a PowerMac G4 (Quicksilver)

I tried this tutorial on how to install leopard on Powermac G4 by modifying the distributions file. Guide: Install Leopard on unsupported Macs - MacRumors Forums  I followed all the directions except I deleted all the extra language  and printer packages so it would fit on a Single Layer disk. Then I  burned the disk image to the DVD on the Powermac. The OS recognized it,  in system preferences you could restart with it and you can click the  installer on the DVD. But when I restart with option, the DVD doesn't  show up as a bootable medium. Then, I made a mistake and acciedentally  restored the DVD to the HD which currently had Tiger on it, restarted,  and now it won't boot. I don't have the original Tiger install disk.  What should I do?

on my G4 Digital Edition I installed Leopard using Leopard Assist 1.1
....but soon I was back to Tiger :)
