Hello,



I have an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570, (0x95531002), and cannot get QE and CI to work on it.



I have tried patching the ATIFramebuffer and the ATI4600Controller kexts, however I cannot get get the QE or CI to work. At the moment, I followed a guide on the chinese forums that had success with the HD4570, but I cannot get it to work.

I patched the ATIFramebuffer in 0xED with the following codes from Kizwan's post (http://www.insanelym...howtopic=253132)



Shrike (with correct Transmitter & Encoder based on the "Dong's RadeonHD's verbose log"):-
CRTC0 > DIG1 > UNIPHYB > HDMI: Encoder=0x00 Transmitter=0x20
CRTC1 > DIG2 > UNIPHYE > LVDS: Encoder=0x01 Transmitter=0x12
CRTC1 > DAC > DACB > VGA: Encoder=0x10 Transmitter=0x10

Patched connection table (32bit):-

This gives me a blank screen, however the backlight is on, so I think it is detecting the LVDS.
When I plug in a VGA monitor on boot, it does not detect a signal, and I cannot test the HDMI output as I don't have any HDMI monitors   

Can anyone help me or send me your working files so that I can test them please?

the senseid for lvds is 07 and not 01. I have 4530 with the same device id. and have full qe/ci with sleep and wake. May be i should make a topic for all 0x95531002 users.

Thats a good idea
Sleep won't work for me :/

My 4570 Works with QE/CI...maybe the kext of my signatur work for you.
