chamak Posted March 6, 2011 Share Posted March 6, 2011 Hardware Spce ============= Processor: Intel Core i5 M 450 Audio: IDT HD Audio (working by Voodoo HDA and removing Apple HDA) GPU: Intel HD (No QE / CI but resolution set on 1366x768x32) Ram: 3 GB USB & Webcam: Working after removing AppleHPET Installation Method =================== Installed 10.6 Vanilla using Prasys's USB installation method. Although I replaced mach_kernel with the one of vanilla 10.6.6 to avoid restart on i5. Installed and working quite ok. Now, after installation I installed only Chameleon RC5 and placed DSDT got by DSDT fixer. Rebooted, and tried to install 10.6.6 combo update, !!! KERNEL PANIC !!!. I tried it thrice and everytime same result. Just before end kernel panic.
