crowbar Posted March 1, 2011 Share Posted March 1, 2011 Hello folks, names Tad aka Crowbarmaster. I am a gamer who happens to love OSX, I would like to share with you my specs and how I did it. Asus M4A78T-E AM3 Mobo Phenom II 955 BE @ 3.75 Ghz 4 GB OCZ Gold DDR3 1600Mhz RAM XFX 4890 ZSFC I used the Hazard 10.6.2 distro, Its been a while but I believe i used as follows: Legacy 10.2 kernel AMD patch EVOenabler (Gives initial video, or you get none.) Ingored sound - the VT1706S doesn't like the VoodooHDA in this disc Attansic L1e driver SATA fix elliotforce CMOS fix IOATA fix rosseta for the show/hide files tool added to this distro This allows me to boot successfully into OSX 10.6.2. Then i grabbed the 10.6.6 legacy kernel, VoodooHDA 2.7.2, netkas's QE/CI patch rev 2 for 10.6.6 and the 10.6.6 combo update. Install the VoodooHDA driver, then the combo update. Once its complete before restarting install the legacy kernel and the QE/CI patch. All should be good once you restart. enjoy! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
