(Please excuse me for my possibly bad english and for being new...)

Ok, when I boot up the installer in VM Ware, when it goes to the "8 Second Countdown" where it says press a key for boot options, right before the countdown it says:

"System Config File /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/Com.apple.boot.plist can't be found"

After that the countdown passes, and even if I pressed a key or not, when I go to select a boot option it says the file can't be found again and I'm stuck there. The same message appears if I type in -v. So do you guys know a workaround to this? Thanks in advance.
