SPMK Posted January 27, 2011 Share Posted January 27, 2011 Hello, I am trying to install MAC OS X on my HP Pavilion a1530n. It has the following specifications: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/documen...=reg_R1002_USEN I can't seem to find a combination of install components that will even let it install. I suspect there may be something wrong with my DVD drive as well. Is there a way to use an USB or SATA drive to load MAC OS X? Could I use my MacBook Pro to preinstall the drive? As you can tell, I am very new here and I am very confused on what is the best approach to do this. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
