ElShotte
Hey guys, I just upgraded to Snow Leopard 10.6.6. Everything is beautiful, it even came with new nVidia drivers because I no longer get missing textures in Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2. Here's the problem though: I am using VoodooHDA.kext for my onboard sound card (Sigmatel 9227) and has worked in 10.6.0 and technically, is working now. If I plug in a set of headphones into the audio jack, I get sound. BUT - I use this PC on a 42" Philips LCD, again, with a DVI-HDMI adapter, then I use a 3.5mm to RCA adapter for sound, which is what you're supposed to do. This worked in 10.6.0, and I had sound coming through my TV speakers. Now, I am assuming this is because of the new nVidia drivers, the sound will not play. I am guessing the TV thinks it is in fact an HDMI cable plugged in and switches the sound over to HDMI as opposed to the RCA plugs. Is there any way I could fix this?
