Hi @all,

I have been reading a lot in this Forum and used all the infos to get OSX to my ASUS-Laptop.

I installed it with the #####, original 10.6.3 DVD and updated to 10.6.4.

It is running not so bad ;( The WLAN and the soundchip was instantly working.

NIC, Webcam, Cardreader etc. not working but i dont care : ) As WLAN runs fine i dont need the NIC ; )

There are 3 problems that i am trying to solve and i am getting nuts ; )

Perhaps someone here can help me. I tend to find out and do things of myself, reading and learning but now i have come to the

limits of my (very poor) knowledge.

Any help would be highly apreciated.

1. BOOTING: I can not boot from HD. The first few trys I had an: boot0:testing, boot0:error. After reading and trying a lot i

changed my HDD. Now i get past that error and get the chameleon screen BUT now i get an "waiting for root device" error ;)

After many hours of testing different bootloader versions including the new cham.RC5 I have no further Ideas.

My prob is, that I can not switch the SATA mode in BIOS. It is stuck to IDE mode and to the secondary "IDE".

Any Ideas ?

2. GRAPHICS: The Laptop has an ATI HD 3470 on board. It is working but stuck to one (1024x768) resolution. Any Ideas ?

3. SLEEP/SUSPEND: Is it possible to get this thing to work in sleep/suspend mode? I really would like to just close the laptop and

reopen it and continue working. From what i read, there ist only a very small change to have this feature on macospcs. Any Ideas

here?

Here is all the Info i have on the ASUS F5SR:

Intel® Pentium® Dual Core Processor T3200

HDD/SATA: Asus Sata controller (This is all I can find out until now)

Chipset: SIS 671DX (NB) und SIS 968 (SB)

Graphics: ATI Mobility™ Radeon® HD 3470, External 512MB VRAM

Thanks in advance for any help.

Greetings

Feuerdraht

P.S.: please excuse my bad english.
