cjhmdm
Hello again, I'm following this guide for installing retail Snow Leopard on my AMD pc. I'm following the guide step by step and am hung up at the dsdt patcher step. When I run DSDT Patcher, I get a "Build failed!" error. I've attached the log but I'm unsure how to proceed from here. Any help on this would be very much appreciated. In the event it's necessary, here are my specs: AMD Phenom II x3 720 BE cpu MSI 785GM-E65 Mobo Currently running iDeneb 10.5.8 and installing from this distro. Edit: Here's a pastebin of the log in case it's easier for anyone who might be able to help: http://pastebin.com/8RDNyhgp build.log.zip
cjhmdm
Ok well, so I took my chances and forced the dsdt build.. 187 errors, 6 warnings but it booted just fine. I haven't installed any drivers just yet, but it does boot with no problem. I'm going to attempt to get a working install without patching the dsdt. Anyone know if this is possible? I was able to install iDeneb 10.5.8 pretty easily with no patched dsdt s gonna give it a shot.
