geiman Posted August 29, 2010 Share Posted August 29, 2010 In short, this is what I do: * Restore a retail OS X install DVD to a thumbdrive (just google, this is very common). * Install Chameleon to the thumbdrive * Add kexts to /Extra/Extensions on the thumbdrive so that it boots on your PC * Install OS X If you are using an iAtkos dvd, all you need to do is restore the dvd to the thumbdrive and you should be good to go. If you have successfully booted from a thumbdrive but your install doesn't work, then you need to be more specific as to your problem, as well as provide some info about your system.
