ni7ewing
Hey guys when I try to install Snow Leopard I hit F8 during the boot sequencce to get to the setup options. When there I enter the -v and -x and hit 'enter' I get a black screen with a few lines of text that go by too fast to read then the computer reboots. Is it Bios settings, or a bad disk? Does anybody know what that is? Here's my stats: MSI H55M-P31 Inter i5 Dual Core 4gig ram
Alessandro17
Is it Bios settings, or a bad disk? Probably neither. Probably you need to boot with -v cpus=1 busratio=xx xx is your busratio, which you can find here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/screenshots/ibusratios.png

Thanks for the help, but apparently the problem was that I kept putting the dash before cpus=

ni7ewing
try setting sata as AHCI In my bios I have the settings on AHCI, however when you go further into the settings for moth my HD and DVD drive they're set to AUTO. I assume the previous setting in the 'tree' overrides the auto.
