farrance87 Posted June 18, 2010 Share Posted June 18, 2010 Hey all, I'm thinking of getting the real thing as I'm finding the Mac-only software irreplacable for my course and it would be nice to have the relevant real drivers (like Intel wifi, for example) plus I've realised I can get an aimable discount . How should I go about this? If I can get the guys at the Apple store to supply me a OS Disk with my purchase, could I insert my current laptop hard-drive (with working kalyway) into the new mac but reformat the mac partition and install genuwine mac over the top and continue to dual-boot as before? Does this also throw a stink with the licencing for the windows partition? I'm just really happy with my current set-up but could use a bit of an upgrade and genuwine mac-ness.
