so i'm wondering whether their are alternatives to rebel efi or osx86 tools?
in the sense that both of these programs, at one time could check hardware id's and then download the corresponding kexts for them. to make post installation life easier.
the reason i ask is because every so often i get hackers itch and i have to have a fiddle with kexts or boot loaders and often it goes horribly wrong and i have to resort to my back up thumb drive to get things sorted again.

on another note. does anyone know why the rc4 ver. of chameleon does not play well with the mobo i have?
specs in sig.

thanks.
