wgeddes Posted July 8, 2006 Share Posted July 8, 2006 Anyone have any tips for getting Powerbooks onto a Linksys wireless router with security? I am running a Windows box. My two roommates have Powerbook G4s (15" and a 12"). They can get on the network fine, unless I use WEP to keep other people out. Then they get this error/; "There was an error joining the AirPort network XXXXX" I have also tried to use restricted MAC addresses, with varying levels of success, because for some reason it freaked out my router and crashed it last time I tried it. Though it did work once with my girlfriend's HP laptop. anyone have an problems or solutions for Linksys and OSX? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
