You can try VoodooHDA. This will probably give you some sound, but there are issues with noise.

Got the same audio. Anyone willing to help to create AppleHDA for this device?

Card codec hex & dec:
Attached File  card0_codec_0.txt   7.59KB   62 downloads
Attached File  card0_codec_0.dec.txt   7.07KB   33 downloads
Converted verbs from Windows registry:
Attached File  PinConfigOverrideVerbs.cov.txt   796bytes   47 downloads
Attached File  PinConfigVerbsBIOS.cov.txt   202bytes   34 downloads

And I'm stuck.

I added HDEF in DSDT, modified AppleHDA.kext:
- replaced codecID and verbs in AppleHDAHardwareConfigDriver.kext/Info.plist
- created Layout and PathMaps in AppleHDAHardwareConfigDriver.kext/Info.plist
- replaced ALC885's codecID with mine in AppleHDA.kext/MacOs/AppleHDA

Attached File  AppleHDA.kext.zip   1.13MB   273 downloads

Still nothing. Any ideas? Thx 4 help.

Can you create a "Device (HDEF)" in DSDT with Legacy kext for the VT1708S because the VoodooHDA is not funny for this device !

Thx, it's the last device to activate in DSDT !
