Hi, i've an asrock a770de+ but i can't get work sound...i've tried azalia and my output is ok but no mic, and skype crash...how i can resolve? My os is snow leopard...thanks!!

You can try VoodooHDA. This will probably give you some sound, but there are issues with noise.

Got the same audio. Anyone willing to help to create AppleHDA for this device?

I added HDEF in DSDT, modified AppleHDA.kext:
- replaced codecID and verbs in AppleHDAHardwareConfigDriver.kext/Info.plist
- created Layout and PathMaps in AppleHDAHardwareConfigDriver.kext/Info.plist
- replaced ALC885's codecID with mine in AppleHDA.kext/MacOs/AppleHDA

 AppleHDA.kext.zip   1.13MB   242 downloads

Still nothing. Any ideas? Thx 4 help.

Can you create a "Device (HDEF)" in DSDT with Legacy kext for the VT1708S because the VoodooHDA is not funny for this device !
