VovaHammer
Hi, After endless attempts I eventually succeeded to install iAtkos v7 (Voodoo 970 kernel) on my PC. However, I have three problems: 1. The system boot takes a very long time - about 5 minutes (as much as I'm unexperienced Mac user, the time seems unreasonable, correct me if I'm wrong). 2. I configured BIOS to use AHCI, which doesn't allow to boot Windows. So every time I want to boot either I have to choose AHCI or IDE. Is there a way run both Windows and Mac OS using one configuration? 3. Finally, my main problem. First boot after I finished installing Mac, I got a "messed" screen. After installing ATI HD4850 driver from iDeneb distribution I got normal screen at native resolution (although the fonts seem blurry and I'm unable to configure them using system preference). However, after restart I get a black screen. If a restart with -x and reinstall the driver, the next boot I again get the normal screen. Restart after that - black screen again. And so forth... My hardware - MSI motherboard with Intel P45 chipset. Graphics card - ATI Radeon 4850. Two SATA disks. I installed the iAtkos v7 distribution, the Voodoo 9.7.0 kernel, PS/2 keyboard driver, SMBIOS v2.7 and everything else - default. As you probably already understood I'm only a novice (if not to say a complete n00b :-)), so any help will be much appreciated.
