syns88
Hi guys, I just installed "Mac OS X 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2].iso", I managed to install the OS from the DVD, but after the completion, it prompted a reboot. After which, I came to an apple loading screen. Few seconds later, the screen prompted "You need to restart your computer. Hold down the power button for several seconds or press the restart button." I restart the computer several times, hold on to the off button as well, but it still goes to this page. Can some one help me out with this issue? Please. I am new to MAC OS X installation on PC, therefore need some advise and guidance ! Thanks people.. My PC specs: Intel core 2 duo 2.66ghz 4gb ram 500gb hard disk 512mb graphics. Kindly advise and assist me .. Thanks !

syns88
how did you solve it? i have the same problem sorry for the late reply, was away for awhile. before installing the OS, you will be prompt to check some boxes. initially i checked all the boxes i thought i need, so end up i only checked the boxes with the intel kernels. you can try that..
