tahitibub Posted November 23, 2009 Share Posted November 23, 2009 Hi, I just installed Snow Leopard using Empire EFI v1.08 on my new laptop, an ASUS K61IC drived by an Nvidia Chipset. I tried a lot of audio drivers but it's only possible to get a (horrible) sound with VoodooHDA's driver. Then I found this guide (in french) to patch AppleHDA's driver for MAC OS 10.5. I don't know if it'll work on MAC OS 10.6, and I feel unable to do it alone myself, but I followed instructions to get the codec dump with Ubuntu's live CD. Could someone help me to patch it ?
