imactheknife Posted October 25, 2009 Share Posted October 25, 2009 So hi everyone! I had an empty G5 case that I have now turned into a Quad core Mac Pro. I followed another guys how-to and installed 10.6 on my rig. Specs are: gigabyte Logic Board G31M-ES2L with 8 channel audio, Gma3100 graphics, and 8 USB ports. I have a seagate 250 Gig HD Internal LG DVD DL Burner Nvidia 9400 Gt 1 gig (worked without drivers) Linksys Wireless G Card (worked without drivers) 4 Gigs 1066 DDR 2 Ram Quad core intel 2.33 with 4 megs cache This thing Flies! I have to figure out my sound on this but I will post the link on how I installed everything. I don't think sleep works and I need suggestions for firewire (be able to use firewire disk mode?)
