dsa420 Posted October 13, 2009 Share Posted October 13, 2009 I have a 2008 Mac Pro 8 core and looking to pimp out an external enclosure. Here is what I have so far: 1. Highpoint RocketRaid 3522 - RAID controller going in host machine 2. (2) x 4 Bay Icy Dock Backplanes Now I just need the power supply and the hard part, the case/tower/etc. I was thinking I would buy an old G5 and gut it and then fill it with the 2 backplanes.
