tr4c3r2k6 Posted September 15, 2009 Share Posted September 15, 2009 Please i need help, i been trying to install snow leopard on my machine but when it boots i get a kernel panic, i´ve been using leopard retail using the boot 132 method and work great no problems, but i can´t install snow leopard, i tried pcefi v9, chameleon 1, 2 rc2 and rc3, boot think and nothing, i always get a kernel panic, please can somebody help me i really want to install snow leopard. this is my machine: Processor Intel Pentium Dual Core e2200 Motherboard ECS 945gctm/1333 v3 (ich7) Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT 512Mb 2 Gb of Ram 160 Gb Hard Disk Airlink awlh4130 (works out of the box in snow leopard tested on another machine with retail install) Hope somebody can give me a hand, sorry for my bad english. I solved the problem, disabled the IDE in the bios, so no more kernel panic i think it was because it was trying to load a kext related to that because i saw ioata kext somewhere in the panic screen thanks everyone.
