broadband_igloo Posted September 10, 2009 Share Posted September 10, 2009 I have now installed SL twice on my computer and both times this is the case. Everything that was working in leopard appears to be working (save for ahci of course) but when i try to play certain games, the video just goes black and doesnt come back. sound continues so i know the game did load... Games so far seem to be diablo 2, world of goo , unreal tournament (but 2004 works) and probobaly more. Also UI elements just feel sluggish, not as smooth as in leopard. These games work fine in leopard on my system, and fine in snow leopard on my girlfriends macbook pro. specs: I7 920 6gb pc-1600 Asus p6t Deluxe Evga GTX 260 Superclocked edition I'm using efi strings in my boot.plist to enable the video.
