brandrob
Hello everybody, With the help of this guide I created a install hard disk for Snow Leopard. When I first booted from the hard drive (in verbose mode, of course), I got an error of something called "AppleIntelCPUPowerManagment.kext". So, I deleted the kext, and it worked... Until I got this error (Before getting to the install, it's still while booting from the install hdd) panic(cpu 2 caller 0xffffff80002cbf74): Kernel trap at 0xffffff8000222bf5, type 14=page fault, registers: (Then a lot of hex code, too much to put in here) Error code: 0x0000000000000002 Debugger called: <panic> Backtrace (CPU 2), Frame : Return Address (A lot of hex code) BSD process name corresponding to current thread: WindowServer Mac OS version: 10A432 Kernel version: Darwin Kernel Version 10.0.0: Fri Jul 31 22:46:25 PDT 2009; root:xnu-1456.1.25~1/RELEASE_X86_64 System model name: MacPro3,1 System uptime in nanoseconds: 111654249749 Thank you for your help! My system specs: - EVGA 780i SLI Motherboard (NVIDIA NForce 780i Chipset) - 2x NVidia GeForce GTX 280 in SLI (Yes, I know SLI won't work in OSX) - 500 GB Serial Ata Hard Drive - Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 4 PRO Sound Card - Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 processor. Stock = 3.0 GHz, overclocked to 3.8 Ghz. Disabling this does nothing. I'm trying to run the install from an external hard drive (USB). Oh, and sorry for my bad English, I'm from the Netherlands.
