iCorgi (Woof.) Posted September 8, 2009 Share Posted September 8, 2009 Hello all. Got Snowy running on the desktop. Now I'm trying to get it to work on this EeeBox B204. Some standard specs: Intel Atom N270 CPU @ 1.6GHz SATA hard disk 1GB of apparently DDR2-667 RAM Booting off USB flash drive Fancy Radeon graphics thing I'm getting a kernel panic of type 14 (page fault) immediately after Darwin starts, though. I have removed the framebuffer kexts (NVDAResman.kext, ATIFramebuffer.kext, AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext) and it still occurs. Booting with the following kexts in the /Extra/Extensions directory: dsmos.kext, Framebuffer_Disabler.kext, NullCPUPowerManagement.kext, AppleRTC.kext. Using PC_EFI v9 as suggested by prasys' guide, as chameleon 2.0-rc1 did the same. Tried with and without smbios.plist, and yes I changed it specifically for this box.
