aod250osx86 Posted September 7, 2009 Share Posted September 7, 2009 Hi All, So I finally found a distro that seemed to work perfectly (aside from wifi) with my AOD250. But I ran into an interesting problem. The distro that I installed is IDeneb's latest lite version. After it had all installed ( I used these options as a reference: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...t=#entry1232598 Post #3) The only resolution I could choose was 800x600. I had the XxX 10.5.6 universal disc burnt from a previous try, and so i extracted the gma950 kexts from that disc using pacifist. Installed using kext helper, all seemed well, full resolution, but now when I try to play any type of movie/video file, there is no video, just a black square the same resolution as the video. This is in VLC or Quicktime. Oddly enough I can play an m4v in itunes, but when I am playing music and i turn on the visualization... this is also a blank, black square. Full screen or not. I really dont know where to go from here, this is the first time that I don't have problems with my usb mouse and trackpad... which is really annoying, but this is also the first time I can't play videos.
