Refit and XFS partition

Hello everybody.

I'm trying to make rEFIt to boot my linux (gentoo) partition in order to load GRUB.

My current partition schema (showed by SL diskutil) is the following:

/dev/disk0

#: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER

0: GUID_partition_scheme *160.0 GB disk0

1: EFI 209.7 MB disk0s1

2: Apple_HFS Snowy 35.0 GB disk0s2

3: Apple_HFS Shared 40.0 GB disk0s3

4: EFI 21.0 GB disk0s4

5: Microsoft Basic Data 60.8 GB disk0s5

6: Linux Swap 2.9 GB disk0s6

The partition n°4 is the one I want to boot (showed as EFI, do not why).

It's type is 82 (Linux) and it's formatted with XFS.

The problem I get it's quite common "Missing Operating System" although GRUB is correctly (I think) installed into that partition.

rEFIt does not show it as Linux (infact the icon is a strange symbol, a rhomb).

No way to make it work so I'm asking is if rEFIt supports XFS. (Don't know if this is related to the problem since this should be managed by GRUB, not by refit itself)

Or maybe there's something I missed.

Partition are synced, I've flagged it bootable through parted.

Don't know what to do; maybe some of you can enlight me :)

Thanks.
