Hello!

Recently i've installed Mac osx on my HP XW4300 Workstation,

but i've got some issues,

My Hackintosh wasn't able to recognize any usb diskonkey...

my network card BCM575X doesn't work, i mean that i can't connect to the internet,

cant configure my x600 graphics card, which is stuck on 1024*768 resolution (Also driver issue),

can't configure sound... ALC260,

I think i'm gonna make a CD with all the drivers that i need,

but it's my first time that i'm using "mac", so i need noob instructions on how to install these drivers and where to get them from,

Thanks Ahead!

Ron.

Hello,

For your ALC260, you should have a look on VoodooHDA (Voodoo projects Forum).

For you Network adapter, try this : http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...mp;#entry121928

You'll probably have to edit the binaries with an hex editor, such as 0xed. This is explained in the thread I linked.

For you graphic card, it's gonna be more tricky. Give a try to Slice's solution for Radeon 9000 IGP [here], this card and yours are based on the same R3xx chip family. You'll have resolution changing but do not expect to have OpenGL acceleration.

The other solution is to replace it with newer nvidia card, they are know to work better under osx.

To install the drivers, use Kext helper (Google it).

To remove them : at boot time, before the gray apple appears, press F8 repeatedly to get the boot options menu, type "-s" then enter. You'll be in single user mode, aka command line. Type "mount -uw /" and enter, then "rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/TheExtensionYouWannaRemove.kext" and enter. Reboot hitting F8 as before, but type "-f -v" this time.

Install Sound and Network first (they are less dangerous), then graphics.

I hope it helped you.
