os.k
I tried nearly one thousand dualboot methods. but I was either too stupid or my hackintosh too stubborn...nothing worked out for me. So, I hope this short tut will help others out there. what you need: xp cd osx dvd boot 123 cd (Please google for it ) Ubuntu live cd (or gparted boot disc) carbon copy cloner (freeware - just google it!) external Harddrive 1 - Install Osx86 as you would normally do it on your hackintosh. 2 - download and install Carbon Copy Cloner (CCC - just google it ) 3 - Connect your external Harddrive 4 - Make a backup of your OSX partition (select your external Harddrive as destination) 5 - Eject your external harddrive 6 - Restart your Hackintosh and boot from XP CD 7 - Delete your Harddisk in the xp setup 8 - Create your windows partition (the size you want it to be) leave the rest unformatted for your OSX Installation 9 - Install Windows on your newly partitioned hdd At this point we have a standard xp Computer and a external harddrive with an osx-backup (CCC). Now to the next step: 10 - Prepare Disk with Ubuntu (boot into ubuntu live cd and convert the unallocated free space to a fat partition and flag it as "boot" with Gparted) 11 - boot your hackintosh from your Boot 123 CD 12 - put in your OSX disk (do not install osx !) 13 - start Disk-Utility and click on your hard drive 14 - connect your external harddrive 15 - go to restore and drag and drop your backup (that you made with Carbon Copy Cloner in step 1-5 ) to ' source ' and drag and drop your designated osx partition to destination 16 - optionally (doesnt work for everybody ) install chameleon to substitued the ugly Darwin Bootloader Have fun! Alternatively, just restore a backup of a real mac that you or one of your friends has. That worked best for me!
