Kay, well it seems no one else has this laptop and has made the effort? Can't get a response.

However, I've made some headway now. Got iDeneb V1.4 to boot using the following tips and methods

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/lofiversi.../t136050-0.html

Custom Install:

Vanilla Kernel

ICHx Fix

Battery Manager Fix

Install Kext Helper, OSx86 Tools, Etc

Download the kexts from appropriate places in that link, replace them by using Windows Partition, boot with CPUS=1 to avoid kernel panic and auto restart.

Follow the replacement method and reboot again with CPUS=1 and you have OSX. Audio is working great. Sleep isn't working of course.

Currently working on: Radeon ATI 4850 Fix, Sleep Fix, All 4 CPUS fix, Wireless, BlueTooth, WebCam (which mysteriously worked in Safe Boot/Leopard Setup but can't get it to pop up now), Mic, etc.

If anyone has any info on how to get this done, that would be great.

Okay I'm going to give up on the graphics for now.

I can do the work I need to by just booting with Chameleon at a different resolution, but I need to get all four cores working.

I currently have to boot with CPUS=1, do not have sound (ALC883), and no Wireless Connection. These are three things that I do need. Haven't tried the eSata connection but USB works so that's good as well.

Can anyone help me get all four cores, suggest an installer for ALC883 and Wireless?
