carpao
I know that there is the osx firewall, but i think that it is not possible to set application based rules ... right? For example say that only application XYZ cannot connect to IP:port... Is there some (ported) (freeware) osx application that do it? BTW under winxp I use the last freeware version (2.0) of tiny firewall and it works well...

carpao
there is no need of anti-spyware under OSX and firewall is inclued in OS X have look to your pref panel <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't want to enter in a diatribe about how much MacOs is safe from virus and spyware... that are by the way two completely different things... and if to be immune from virus could be a thing due to well written os (and I'm not sure about it at all).. I'm sure that every application programmer can decide from a versin to the successive to "phone home" ... thanks oni for the indication of littlesnitch... it is excatly what I'm looking for, but it is not freeware... any indication for a freeware similar product?
