kylerebbe Posted June 3, 2009 Share Posted June 3, 2009 I installed iPC 10.5.6 on my Dell Inspiron 1520 laptop. It has the 8600m GT video card. I have gotten my video to work with hardware rendering and such. I am wondering if anyone has gotten the video out to work without locking up the pc. Every time I plug in my LCD and hit detect displays the laptop screen turns black and I have to restart the computer and unplug the monitor. If anyone has any information regarding this issue it would be greatly appreciated as it is really the only thing I need to fix on my setup. I wont be able to use the OS without this feature unfortunately By the way... I tried to search this issue a few times and it came up with somewhat related topics but not quite sure if it is exactly hitting what I need... and all the other times I tried searching the search failed which is irritating...
