Khan_Man Posted May 14, 2009 Share Posted May 14, 2009 Hi, I bought a LG GH22NS30 DVD burner, put it in my hackintosh (Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R, Xeon 3350) and found that it won't burn DVDs from the Finder or disktools or iDVD. It will burn CDs from the finder and burn data and video DVDs from Toast. I've tried.... updating firmware from 1.0.1 to 1.0.2. I've tried....OS: 10.5.6, 10.5.3, 10.5.2, 10.4.9 I've tried.... 3 different motherboards, D945GCLF2, and D945GCL besides the EP45-UD3R All with the same results. I does burn data DVD from Nero in Windows as well. I've logged this in the hardware compatibility list and the OSx86 Database. Khan Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
