tomhanks2k6 Posted April 14, 2009 Share Posted April 14, 2009 Guys I need help getting the 945GMA working on my Dell Inspiron 640m. I have installed IDeneb v 1.4. But after booting the screen went blank. I got through that by removing the AppleIntelGMA kexts as suggested in one other thread. But my problem is now that I can't get the full screen resolution i.e. 1440 x 900. I am stuck with 1024 x 786. How can I get the full resolution? Please help. noob766 Posted April 16, 2009 Share Posted April 16, 2009 You Need AppleIntegratedFramebuffer.kext and IOGraphicsFamily.kext (see attached file) Also Reinstall the Stock Kexts Make sure your computer is updated or else it won't work properly you need to install it into /System/Library/Extensions/ folder I would use OSX86Tools to do this http://www.######.com/osx86tools/ It still has an artifact problem unfortunately By the way I made a Boot-132 disk (Retail Install) for the 6400/600m/E1505.
