Thanks to Bill Blaiklock (sintax) and Aaron Graham (monkeynz)!

No kidding. You can actually remotely access your Windows machine from a Nintendo DS using a program called Win2DS. Here's how to do it:

You'll Need:

-A DS flash card (something like an M3 or R4) that supports booting and homebrew

-A Nintendo DS

-A PC running Windows XP, Vista, or 7

-Win2DS 0.8:

get it here: http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=85195

-Patience (really)

What To Do:

1- Unzip win2ds.zip, and copy the folder to your desktop.

2- Configure your wireless router/card to use any channel, except for 0 or 1, since those channels cause problems with DS wireless. If it's already okay, then leave it alone.

3- Go to Windows Firewall, and make sure UDP port 8888 is open in and out.

4- Copy the win2ds folder to your flash card.

5- Now open Command Prompt and type "ipconfig /all" (no quotes).

6- Find your computer's IP address.

7- Turn on your DS, and run ds2win.nds or ds2win.ds.gba and start win2ds.exe on the PC.

8- On the Main Menu in ds2win, select Auto Connect. If you get a message that says "CANNOT CONNECT," go to any DS wifi game, and configure the wireless settings.

9- Enter your computer's IP when prompted on the DS.

10- If you entered a password for your win2ds on the PC, enter it into the DS.

11- Now you should see another menu. Chose the option on the top of the list.

If everything was done right, you should see your PC desktop.

FAQ

Q: It stops at ASSOCIATING or AUTHENTICATING

A: This means it can't connect to your wifi point correctly - use DSOrganize or a Nintendo Wifi Connection game to setup the

appropriate settings in your firmware

Q: It stops at Waiting...

A: Something is blocking communcations on port 8888 UDP *OR* you are entering the wrong IP address

So go to a command prompt (Start->Run->cmd) and type ipconfig

What it says next to "IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . :" is what you should type in. If you have multiple adapters try all the IP addresses listed.

Otherwise if you are having trouble connecting look at your

1. Windows firewall

2. 3rd Party Security / Antivirus / Firewall software

And either deactivate the firewall (not recommended) or open UDP port 8888
