rudd Posted March 3, 2009 Share Posted March 3, 2009 After Installation of iDeneb1.3 10.5.5 on my notebook acer aspire 1642ZWlmi (with graphic card Intel GMA900) When I boot the Mac, it stay in blue screen. You need the original AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext and ElliotAppleIntelGMA950LegacyEnabler.kext install them using KextHelper and reboot with -f (optionally you can use -v to see what is going on) The Elliot.... kext wil provide you quartz extreme to be able to install those kexts i did the following: boot with ideneb 1.3 disk, and press f8 to enter some options added at the boot: prompt "rd=disk0s1" (without quotas" this means you use the kernel and drivers from the cd, but the root disk will be the one you specify (in my case disk0s1, meaning first hdd, first partition ... you should replace that according to your installation parameters). you will complete your installation, login to your mac, and browse this forum for those kests (this is the place i have found them). found it! http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...amp;pid=1057438 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
