Just wondering if I can keep Tiger on my internal drive, install Leopard on an external drive--- boot to external drive for testing to make sure installation goes OK---

Anyone see any problems with that idea?

TIA

No problem. I've done this - just select the appropriate drive at the first boot screen, if your motherboard supports it, otherwise change settings in BIOS.
