Hello :) .

I've a Problem with OSX, or OSX does have one with me:

It won't let me boot. Everytime i tried installing different distros ( iAtkos, iDeneb, iPC, ... )

it tells me "Still waiting for root device", but i'm able to boot via DVD ( rd=diskXsY ),

which means that some configurations were wrong?!

One time I was lucky and I was able to boot iDeneb, but needed to reinstall :/.

My System:

Intel E6400 @ 2,6 GHz ( OC'd )

MSI P965 Neo-F Express ( Onboard Audio & Lan )

4 x 2 GB DDR2 @ 833MHz

ATI X1950 XTX

Notice:

I'm currently not using a S-ATA device or harddrive, that means I'm working with an IDE-Device and Harddrive. The Harddrive is a slave, which is quite {censored}. I tried to set it up as a master, but I'm not able to since the nice IDE-Cable master plugin is at the end, which means it points to the devices and my devices are at the top, not where a harddrive should be.

Anyway I tried to setup it as an master via Jumper: No Luck :/.

I hope you can help me out of this.

Hopefully,

avonNarret.

PS: I read the whole web to figure out whats wrong!
