Acer osx Posted February 1, 2009 Share Posted February 1, 2009 I have a 250gb usb hdd with all my media on it, I use it with my leopard (hackintosh) partition and my vista partition on my acer aspire 3692. The hdd is NTFS and leopard uses NTFS3G to read/write it. Until recently it all worked fine, now it only works with leopard; vista tells me it needs to be formatted before it can be used?Q"?!?!?! does anybody have any ideas on how i can fix this? please? szaka Posted February 1, 2009 Share Posted February 1, 2009 1. Make a backup of your driver content on OS X. 2. Run CHKDSK /F DRIVE: on Windows. 3. Use the latest NTFS-3G driver from http://macntfs-3g.blogspot.com 4. Make sure you eject the external disk before you reboot or remove it from the computer.
