rosenbergendo
Whoever can please help, I bought an MSI wind to play with. During preparation of the USB boot disk I accidently used OSX86 tools to install EFI on the Macbook. I know I am total moron. Now after having tried reinstalling Leopard from a retail disk the mac still will not boot. During booting the folder with a question mark comes up. Can anyone please direct me what to do to uninstall the PC EFI and put back the old Macbook one. Thanks so much, Dr. Endo
Superhai
You don't know what you are saying, not what you are talking about, not what you are doing. And what you wrote doesn't make sense.
dreadlocks
He said he was installing OSX onto a USB disk from a REAL APPLE MACBOOK and accidently installed PC EFI on a legit MBP.... Just a guess, but from the Install Disk open up disk manager and erase all the partitions.. then start the install and see if Leopard will bootstrap an uninitialized disk. If you have data to retrieve first then see if you can manually mount your disk and transfer your data somewhere on the network...
