And then when i restarted it, it came to the grey screen with the apple and circle progress thingy. Now i read on this site i need to update my firmware using a different Mac. I've tried this but when i follow the instructions, i can't seem to find FirmwareRestorationCD.dmg from the Disk Utility on my friends Mac. Can someone describe how exactly you find it? Cause the option comes up when i type it into search, but it comes up grey and i can't select it. Could it be the CD i'm using. It's just a Sony CD-R 700 MB disc.
