Globus Posted December 22, 2008 Share Posted December 22, 2008 I reinstalled OS 10.4 on my one year old Macbook (erase and install). The installation went well but when I restart the computer won't work. All I get is the white screen with the apple logo and the moving thing with the stripes. Starting in safe mode has no effect. I have also tried resetting NVRAM and SMC. Apple Hardware Test finds no errors. Disk Utility finds no errors. These are the last lines in Verbose mode: Login Window Started Security Agent nothing found to load Warning: Method _cgsevent is obsolete and will be removed in release 10.4 Any suggestions?
