lex89
I currently have XP Pro installed on a 74gig sata drive. I also have a 320gig sata drive (used for regular storage--games, videos, etc) and a 500 gig sata drive, split into 2 partitions: 147GB(Music) and 317GB(regular storage). All of these are NTFS. Yesterday I defragged the 74gig drive and resized the partition, leaving 15 gigs of unformatted space. My plan is to install OS X on 15 gigs of unformatted space and dual-boot XP and OS X (Kaly 10.5.2 to be specific). I read somewhere that OS X can't write to NTFS though, and I know windows can't read or write Apple's format (HFS?). Should I reformat 50 gigs or so of space on one of the other drives to HFS to use for OS X? Thanks for your help!
