Igor Freire Posted August 15, 2008 Share Posted August 15, 2008 Hello guys, i have an installation of kaliway 10.5.2 with uptade to 10.5.3 it's all working, but firewire i'm not sure. I have just bought an firewire interface, and when a plug it, system doesn't recognize. It should flash a green led on my interface, but nothig occurs. I have already tested the interface on a real mac, it works. Now, I don't know if the problem is on my firewire cable, or on my firewire driver. When I go on "system profiler", my firewire appear, but doesn't appers any connections. Is there any way I can test firewire? I don't have here nothing to plug, just that interface. adrock42 Posted August 24, 2008 Share Posted August 24, 2008 It kind of depends on the card I believe. You want to make sure you have a card that claims OCHI compliance.
